After finishing second at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, Simone Biles and the American women’s gymnastics team won the gold medal in the team final at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, capping their “redemption tour.”

Biles claimed that the atmosphere at “the Ranch,” where she was first training with the U.S. women’s national team, was anything but enjoyable.

“Turn around and find out,” she uttered timidly.
Biles confirmed after the press conference, saying, “We don’t have a name.” The best names are all taken. Really, we don’t have a team name. The interior name is that.
Today was not Biles’s premiere for her new ability. But in the all-around, she was still capable of doing it.
Gymnastics is not enough for Simone Biles, and it never has been.
From the beginning, the American celebrity, 27, has been determined to take the sport to new heights by attempting things that have never been done before. She may attempt to win her ninth Olympic medal in Paris this week.
She successfully finished two vault, two floor exercises, and one balancing beam element in an international competition, earning her a spot in the Code of Points.
If Biles attempts the original skill—this one on uneven bars—that she submitted to the International Gymnastics Federation prior to the Olympics, there’s a chance she may add a sixth. Neither on Sunday during qualification nor on Tuesday during the team final did Biles try it. She still has Thursday’s all-around final to try it out.

Once the U.S. women’s gymnastics team completed its post-competition media duties, hundreds of supporters stayed inside Bercy Arena.
The Americans, who were all wearing gold medals around their necks, received cheers and chants from the crowd. “We love you!” was exclaimed by a loud voice to the gymnasts. Numerous cell phones also recorded the event from above as Biles and the others spoke with reporters while wearing cameras.
