UFC 304 live results: bout card, start time, updates, highlights, and Leon Edwards vs. Belal Muhammad 2
In the main event of UFC 304 on Saturday night, Leon Edwards will defend his welterweight title against Belal Muhammad in an attempt to add more titles to his collection.
The bout is a rematch of one from 2021 that resulted in a draw due to Edwards’ unintentional eye poke in the second round.
In a rematch of his own, interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall will also compete. Aspinall, who lost his only UFC fight to Curtis Blaydes in 2022 after suffering a knee injury only 15 seconds into their match, will defend his interim title against Blaydes.
Paddy Pimblett, a budding talent, will compete in a lightweight match against King Green. It’s anticipated that Pimblett’s next challenge will be the hardest of his career—Green.
The entire Saturday will be covered by CBS Sports, who will provide you with all of the UFC 304 results and highlights below.

In the main event of UFC 304, Belal Muhammad defeated Leon Edwards by unanimous decision to become the new welterweight title of the UFC. From the first bell, Muhammad applied unrelenting pressure that Edwards was unable to withstand, overwhelming the champion to win the title.
Muhammad established the pattern for the fight right away by entering the fray and forcing Edwards to retreat by getting in his face right away. Muhammad went from busy hands to a vicious double-leg takedown as Edwards’ back collided with the cage.
Edwards managed to stay alive on the ground and make his way back up to his feet, where he would experience brief success before falling back to the ground, just as he was able to do throughout the fight.
Throughout the bout, Muhammad’s constant pressure on Edwards and Edwards’ own incapacity to escape Muhammad’s hold and create a space to strike would repeatedly breach Edwards’ usually strong takedown resistance.
Round 3 was Edwards’ best round as he was the one to regain control and secure the takedown. Muhammad withstood Edwards’s attempt to apply a rear-naked choke, winning the round and returning to his uncompromising strategy until the final bell.
Muhammad also deserves credit for his efficient striking, which kept Edwards from ever settling when they weren’t locked in a clinch or entangled on the ground, even though it wasn’t always technically flawless.
Following five rounds of action, Muhammad emerged victorious, winning 48-47, 48-47, and 49-46 to claim the title of UFC welterweight champion.
Round 5 of Leon Edwards vs. Belal Muhammad:
Edwards knew coming into the round that he was probably going to lose on the scorecards unless he could find a way to finish. Edwards took two punches for his trouble defending against a takedown. Muhammad repeatedly fired in, snatching a body lock. Muhammad attempted to roll onto his back even after Edwards clutched the cage to prevent a takedown. Muhammad simply held his ground, landing blows and ending Edwards’ championship run as soon as possible. Edwards lost control and tumbled to the top, landing a massive elbow that sliced apart Muhammad. A couple more forceful elbows to break up the fight. Edwards may have won the round because to the damage, but it might have also been.
