Simone Biles

Olympic calendar for Simone Biles: When will the greatest athlete next compete?

Simone Biles’s next competition in the Olympics in Paris will be the vault final on Saturday, August 3, and the all-around final on Thursday, August 1.

As the finest American gymnast and one of the greatest athletes in Olympic history, Simone Biles achieved the top spot on the podium once more.

After finishing in second place in Tokyo three years prior, Biles helped the United States win the women’s team event on Tuesday to earn her fifth gold medal at the Olympics and restore American dominance in the sport.

Her focus now shifts to the all-around finals on Thursday.

At a boisterous Bercy Arena, in front of Nicole Kidman, Natalie Portman, Serena Williams, Spike Lee, Michael Phelps, and Nadia Comaneci, Biles became the most decorated gymnast in American history.

The 27-year-old Biles, who was previously tied with Shannon Miller at seven, won his eighth Olympic medal.

The “Redemption Tour,” as the group of women who wanted to return to the Games for very personal reasons called themselves, concluded with Biles and the Americans where they have virtually always been since her debut 11 years ago: atop the podium with the rest of the world gazing up.

Biles, who is now 27 and married, returned eight years after winning the gold in Rio with a group that dubbed Aly Raisman “grandma” because she was only 22. She was accompanied by Jade Carey (24), Chiles (23), Lee (21) and adolescent Hezly Rivera.

Biles was incredible once more as she led her team to the gold medal in the women’s team competition following a strong showing in qualification. Her scores are broken down as follows:

  • Vault: 14.900 (5.600 in difficulty, 9.300 in execution)
  • Floor: 14.666
  • Beam: 14.366 (6.400 in difficulty, 7.966 in execution)

With a stunning performance in the last floor exercise, Biles secured the gold, giving the United States a significant lead (171.296) over Italy, who took second place (165.494), and Brazil, who took third place (164.497).

She currently holds an incredible 38 medals from important international tournaments. She has surpassed Shannon Miller as the most accomplished American gymnast with eight of those occurring beneath the Olympic rings.

When is Simone Biles’s next Olympic competition?

Simone Biles is scheduled to compete in the all-around final on Thursday, August 1 at 12:15 p.m. ET, which is the first individual women’s gymnastics event at the Paris Olympics.

Which competitions is Simone Biles still scheduled to compete in?

The qualifying schedule for American women’s gymnastics athlete is as follows:

Simone Biles

has now surpassed the illustrious Shannon Miller to become the most decorated American Olympic gymnast in history with eight medals, including five gold.

As the fourth American team to win an Olympic gold medal in this event, Biles, Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, and Hezly Rivera will now go down in history.

Biles expressed satisfaction upon landing her vault, the occasion where she experienced the “twisties” that compelled her to withdraw from the team final and many events in Tokyo.

The U.S. decided to rely on its veterans and did not include Rivera, the youngest player in the entire delegation from all sports, in any of the lineups. While Lee, the reigning Olympic all-around champion, participated on the uneven bars, balancing beam, and floor exercise, Biles and Chiles competed on all four events.

“It’s been an incredible experience,” Rivera remarked. “Even practicing with them is incredible because I witness how hard everyone works both physically and psychologically at the gym. We’ve been through a lot together, but tonight, on the day that matters, we brought it all together. I was thrilled to be on the floor supporting them. I really enjoyed rooting for this squad tonight, and I’m quite proud of them.”

After placing seventh in the qualifying round, Great Britain made an incredible comeback to make it to the final. Despite winning bronze in Tokyo, the team’s chances of winning a medal were clouded by injuries suffered by several of the nation’s best athletes before to the Games. The group placed fourth.
