In a lively rally, Megan Thee Stallion dances, raps, and bumps Vice President Kamala Harris.

Megan Thee Stallion, decked up in “hot girl” costume, twerked and bounced to her songs as she promoted Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign on Tuesday in Atlanta. The event was lively and included Stacey Abrams and fellow rapper Quavo.

As she performed her Grammy-winning song “Savage,” Megan Thee Stallion said, “We’re about to make history!” She was decked up in a Democrat blue suit, tie, and cut white shirt that showed off her midriff. “Hotties For Harris” was another placard that could be seen from the stage.

The Texas native and her dancers, who wore blue blazers, shorts, and full white shirts without ties, mimicked her outfit, jumped through a few tunes, including “Girls in the Hood,” during the short but intense performance. Her closing remarks before “Body” were a forceful endorsement of Harris. “I’m sure the women in the crowd adore their bodies. You know who to vote for if you want to continue appreciating your body,” she added.

The Texas Southern University alum, who is also the vice president‘s fellow HBCU, told the crowd to “make some noise for Ms. Harris, our future president” just a few seconds into “Savage,” her final song.

The superproducer Jermaine Dupri, who was in attendance to support Harris, contributed a song called “Welcome to Atlanta” to the tense rally’s playlist, which she sang during the latter moments of. The Dupri-produced song “Never Scared” was played at one point to highlight Harris’s willingness to engage in discourse with the previous president Donald Trump. Speakers from the Democratic Party, such as Senators Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock and former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, energized the audience.

Abrams, the second speaker of the evening, reminded the audience of the previous time Georgia had defended the country against Trump. In order to give the Democrats a little lead in the Senate, Abrams spearheaded the successful campaign to turn Georgia blue for Biden-Harris in 2020. She also assisted in the election of Ossoff and Warnock, two Democratic U.S. Senators. She also promised that “we will not go back” in response to cheers that included calls to “lock him up” after detailing the horrors that came with Trump’s reign.

To riotous acclaim, she concluded, “We will work to make Kamala Harris someone who breaks ties in the Senate but breaks barriers in the Oval Office.”

Rapper Quavo of Migos abruptly came out to support Harris shortly after Megan exited the stage. Quavo and Harris have been working together to address “the gun violence issue.” For the rapper from the Atlanta region, the problem is particularly personal because nearly two years ago, he lost his nephew and fellow Migos member Takeoff to gun violence in Houston. “The one thing I learned about working with Vice President Harris is she always stands on business,” the rapper remarked in a speech to his peers.

He urged people who might not have cast a ballot to do so this time, promising that “we’re changing the culture again,” a reference to the Migos’ groundbreaking, critically acclaimed 2017 album Culture. When Donald Glover’s popular FX series Atlanta won best comedy at the Golden Globes, he notably cited one of the group’s big songs, “Bad and Boujee,” which helped popularize the group.

In response to the controversial border issue—a major Republican talking point for Trump—Harris used the rapper’s persona to sum up Trump’s dubious position. As the audience cheered, she remarked, “As my friend Quavo would say, he doesn’t walk it like he talks it,” referring to Migos’ Top 10 2018 smash song “Walk It Talk It” featuring Drake from their Culture II album.

Prior to concluding her address with a strong call to action for supporters to put in a lot of effort and work toward winning on November 5, which is just 98 days away, Harris criticized her opponent for refusing to engage in a debate in September regarding his platform, which she claimed included threats to women’s reproductive health as well as other issues detailed in Project 2025.

She remarked, “He and his running mate sure have a lot to say about me, but he won’t debate me.” According to a proverb, “If you have anything to say, say it to my face.”
