“Arena Breakout Infinite” Is Released Through Twitch Drops for Early Access
After an amazingly successful beta test earlier in the year, Arena Breakout Infinite is set to enter into Early Access. To celebrate the launch, there will be a large Twitch drops campaign where you can get some solid in-game items to help you get started.
Tonight, August 12, at 2 am UTC, Arena Breakout Infinite will launch into early access. For those in the US, that is 3 a.m. BST on the 12th and 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT on the 11th. You can launch Arena Breakout Infinite and begin playing the game at that point, but if you’d want to start ahead of time, a preload is already available on the game’s website.
You will have to wait a little while to play the game on Steam, though, as that platform will not debut early access at the same time as the game. As of right now, there is no scheduled release date for Steam, therefore the only way to play Arena Breakout Infinite is through the standalone launcher available on the official website.
A Twitch drops campaign, which gives top-tier gear to anyone who watches others playing Arena Breakout Infinite on the streaming platform, will begin a few hours after the servers go up. To receive a drop, all you need to do is watch for thirty minutes, connect your Twitch account to your Arena Breakout Infinite account, and make sure you create a character in the game. During this campaign, you can obtain up to five drops, each of which can grant you access to high-tier equipment like fully-modded FALs, AK-74Ns, or 200,000 Koens.
There are only 200,000 Twitch drops available for this launch campaign, though, and we witnessed time and time again throughout the beta that these drops would be scooped in a matter of minutes. I anticipate these to go just as quickly now that the game is available to even more players thanks to the launch.
You will be able to blast your way through the extraction shooter, which attempts to imitate Escape From Tarkov but falls short of Tarkov’s exceptional quality, once the servers go up later tonight. Given that most Tarkov players are preparing for the impending wipe, which is scheduled to begin in a few days, the timing of the launch is odd.
Arena Breakout: Infinite, a free-to-play tactical shooter, goes live in early access the next week.
Next week, on August 13, the free-to-play tactical extraction shooter Arena Breakout: Infinite will go live in early access.
The game’s official website will be the only place to get early access on PC after a limited beta test earlier this year.
Developer MoreFun Studios intends to swiftly iterate on player feedback while concentrating on optimization, introducing new features, modifying gameplay and monetization mechanisms, and more during early access.
Enzo Zhang, the producer of Arena Breakout: Infinite and head of MoreFun Studios, stated, “Our team constantly improved the game, addressing bugs and adding new features, during the Closed Beta Test (CBT) earlier this year.”
“Based on the lessons we learned from CBT, we believed that using our official website to organize and speed early access development was the best option. As we utilize this early access time to swiftly produce the most comprehensive version of Arena Breakout: Infinite on PC, we believe this is the greatest and most cooperative development technique.”
On August 12, pre-downloads for early access will start one day early. Details about the full 1.0 launch and early access on Steam will be revealed at Gamescom later this month.
The game is currently ranked highly on the Steam wishlist, so its arrival on the platform will undoubtedly be significant.
Arena Breakout: Infinite is set to rival the well-liked Escape from Tarkov head-to-head.
