Amber alert issued,9-year-old Durham child reported missing
An Amber Alert was sent out Thursday night by the North Carolina Center for Missing Persons on a Durham youngster who went missing.
Geon King-Parriett, the boy, was identified by officials as a black male who weighed 100 pounds and stood 4 feet 10 inches tall. They also mentioned that he was last spotted sporting sweatpants and a black hoodie.
Authorities stated that they think the youngster is with 33-year-old black woman Mariah King, who weighs 140 pounds and stands about 5 feet 4 inches tall. According to deputies, she was last seen with her hair pulled back into a ponytail and dressed in black crop top and gray sweatpants.
The two walked out of 202 S Benjamine Street, according to the authorities.
The Durham Police Department is asking anyone with information about Geon King-Parriett or Mariah King to contact them right now at (919) 475-2511. One can also dial *HP or 911.

On Thursday evening, the Durham Police Department released an Amber Alert.
Police say they are looking for Geon King-Parriett, who is nine years old. King-Parriett is a masculine Black individual that weighs 100 pounds and is 4 feet, 10 inches tall.
He was last seen wearing sweatpants and a black hoodie, according to the authorities.
According to the police, they think he is dating Mariah King, 33.
Mariah King, a Black woman, was described by the police as 140 pounds in weight and standing 5 feet 4 inches tall. She was last seen wearing gray sweatpants and a black crop top, according to the authorities. She had brown hair pulled back in a ponytail, brown eyes, and brown hair.
According to police, Mariah King dropped King-Parriett off at 202 South Benjamine Street, and she walked away.

About an hour after it was sent out, the Amber Alert was discontinued. Aniha Hooper was abducted from a bus stop by three masked males, according to the initial complaint from the North Carolina Center for Missing Persons.

But an hour or so after it was sent out, the authorities canceled the Amber Alert and declared the girl safe.

The 16-year-old Aniha Hooper is the subject of an Amber Alert from the North Carolina Center for Missing Persons.
Aniha weighs 100 pounds and stands about 4’5″ tall. She was last seen with a gray shorts and a blonde bonnet on. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She also had on an orange and white basketball-style jersey.
At the same spot, Bayron Tejeda, the baby’s father and suspect, was taken into custody.
He will be detained in Akron until he is able to be extradited to West Chester Township, according to U.S. Marshals.
The two girls were placed in the foster home as an emergency measure due to domestic abuse conditions at their prior Akron home, which was connected to an incident that was reported on March 9, according to West Chester police, which was reported to WCPO.
Due to Tejeda’s claimed history of “severe domestic violence,” both daughters were thought to be in danger at the time the alert was issued, according to a press statement from West Chester Township.
The event is still being looked into by the police.
