At halftime, the Ravens and Eagles were deadlocked 6-6.

Nate Wiggins, a rookie cornerback, was the highlight of the first half. So far in the game, the first-round draft pick has racked up two tackles and three pass deflections. He’s proving why the Ravens selected him with the 30th overall choice in the current draft.

Trenton Simpson, a linebacker for the Ravens, has led the team in tackles made thus far in the game with nine. Following Patrick Queen’s free agent signing with the Steelers, Simpson will replace Roquan Smith at inside linebacker.

Josh Johnson, the quarterback, saw all of the first half action and finished 4 of 12 for 62 yards. The Ravens’ offensive output for the game is just 109 yards.

The kickoff for the second half will go to the Ravens.

The Eagles’ 2024 preseason officially begins on Friday at 7:30 p.m. when they play the Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.

Preseason Eagles vs. Ravens: Start time, broadcast, ways to watch, and stream

At M&T Bank Stadium, the Eagles take on the Baltimore Ravens to start their preseason schedule on the road. It’s likely that we’ll see a lot of Kenny Pickett and not much Jalen Hurts.

The Eagles head coach, Nick Sirianni, hasn’t said how much his starters will play today; he just said, “We’ll see.” However, according to Jeff McLane of the Inquirer, the team’s starting players on offense and defense will play at least one series.

The Birds’ three preseason games will not include many snaps for Hurts or recently acquired running back Saquon Barkley, if history is any indication.

Hurts and the majority of the starting lineup missed the whole preseason last year, and the starting offense has only participated in three series in three seasons under Sirianni. Thus, throughout the next several weeks, anticipate seeing a lot of playing time for Pickett, the former first-round choice of the Pittsburgh Steelers who was acquired by the Eagles in the offseason.

As Tropical Storm Debby’s leftovers pass across the area tonight, fans should also prepare for rain.

Safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson is one player who most likely won’t be suiting up after missing practice on Wednesday for the second consecutive day due to a shoulder ailment.
